Common questions
What counts as a workspace?
A workspace is one operational unit — a department, a clinic, an ED, an ICU. Most teams
map one workspace to one physical wall display. You can have multiple walls per workspace
if you want them showing different views (e.g. charge-RN view vs. triage view).
Do you offer a free trial of paid features?
Yes — every account starts with a 30-day Department tier trial. After that you can stay
on the free Workspace tier or upgrade.
What hardware do I need?
Any TV with a web browser (a smart TV, an Apple TV with a browser app, or a Raspberry
Pi + monitor). Relay runs in the browser at
app.relaysurface.com/wall/....
No proprietary hardware. No app store install.
Is implementation included?
Department tier includes email and screen-share onboarding. Health system tier includes
a named onboarding engineer and a custom kickoff plan.
Do you bill by the user?
No. You pay by the workspace, not the headcount. Add as many clinicians as you need.
